Sankarfoods Organic Farm
Sankarfoods Organic Farm is a State-of-the-art agricultural farm which is located 62km from Salem in Tamilnadu,India. It is equipped with CCTV, music player, inline drippers,sprinklers, cyclone filter,graval filter,magnetic water conditioner,dosing pump,disc filters,pressure gauges.The design is intended to use minimum manpower,60-65%of less energy & water as compare to conventional farming and also to give local farmers a visual understandings of the advantages of using agril technology.

Multi nutrition preparation techniques in Sankarfoods Organic Farm
10'(L) X 3'(W) X 2.75'(H) tank filled 3/4" gravel with 6 - 8" height
nylon mesh placed over the gravel and fine sand filled about 6" height
nylon mesh placed over the sand and locally available leaves in the farm are placed about 10 - 12" height

cow's urine coming to the tank through pipeline from the cow's shed
cow dung, goat's excreta, vermin compost and different fruits are filled in the bags and placed / immersed in the tank
noticed that ducks ensures no insect's breeding happens
Black meat chicks excreta will fall into the multi nutrition preparation tank
liquid from the multi nutrition tank is getting filed in this tank after filtration through 150 micron mesh
The multi nutrition liquid is being dosed to irrigation water through the dosing pump

Organic inputs preparation method and usage in Sankarfoods Organic Farm
A) Preparation of Amutha Karisal
- Fresh Cowdung - 15kgs
- Cow Urine - 15 ltrs
- Jaggery (traditional uncentrifuged sugar - 1- 2 kg
- Dried green gram/ cow pea - powder - 2 kgs
- Soil - (one) hand full
- water - to make up in 150 - 160 ltr plastic drum.
Mix the ingredients in a plastic drum and keep it in shade for 48 hrs, ensure that it is covered with a mesh(aeration is required) and gently stirrer it once in 24 hrs.
It will be ready to use after 48 hrs:
- can be used as a polio spray at 30 ml/l water
- can be passed through inline, external drippers, sprinklers and flood irrigation at 200 l/acre, once in a month.
B) Panchagavya
1. Fresh Cowdung - 7 -8 kgs

2. Ghee (made from cow milk) - 1 kg
3. Jaggery (traditional uncentrifuged sugar) - 1 kg
Mix/blend these ingredients gently and leave it for 4 - 5 days. Than add the following ingredients,
4. Cow urine - 3 - 3.5ltrs
5. Fresh cow milk - 2 ltrs
6. Fresh Curd - 2 ltrs
7. Tender coconut water - 3 - 3.5 ltrs
8. Papaya fruit pulp - 1 ltr
9. Banana(poovam) fruit pulp - 1ltr
mix all these ingredients well and leave it for 2 to 3 weeks. It has to be gently stirred thrice in a day and will be ready to use after 15 - 17 days time.

Activity in 2013 at Sankarfoods Organic Farm
Sankarfoods Organic Farm continuously improves the farm to bring into more Modernization and Independent way to optimize resource utilization.
Farm has received its Organic Certification in Sep 2012 for the crops produced in the farm and the certificate is valid for one year.
Participation in the state level organic farming conference in Nov ' 12
Solar Panels are installed to utilize the Natural resources in the farm
Mobile automatic water pump controller is installed to operate / monitor the pump operation / status from anywhere in the world
